Some bad news and good news: The bad news is that I will no longer be working with G&S and the Sundrycraft server as we know it will be taken down.

The good news is that the server will be coming back up soon run by me and my team (TK and Star). It’s the same world you have been playing on and all of your work is still there and waiting for you. We have a few tweaks to make before we come online, but there is more good news.

The server has been upgraded to 1.15.2 (Hello Bees!) and will be FREE to join. If you have played on Sundrycraft, you will be able to join us for free! I will be launching a Patreon page for monthly donations, but more on that later. If you have friends that want to join, they can also join for free, but you will have to vouch for them. We want to keep the same community and community standards we’ve always had. We want to remain a safe and fun place to create.

There will be a new IP address for the server, but all that information will be coming soon. For all the news on the new place, you don’t have to change a thing. The Facebook page, the website, the twitter, and the instagram are all remaining put and will now be about the new place. There is a Discord set up for the new place and you can find the link at uddercraft.com/getting-started/

Thanks to G&S for supporting the server all these years. Thanks to Jess, Stef, and Digressive for starting it 5 years ago. And thanks to you all for playing and being a great community. I hope you will join us in the new place very soon!

ALERT: Server is Down

I’m sorry to say that the server is down at the moment. It has to do with the hosting site, so we don’t have any control over what’s happening. We’re working to get answers, but for now it’s a waiting game and it may take a few days. Please stay tuned and thank you for your patience.

Sundrycraft v4 Creative Challenge 1: “The Ocean”

Go to the creative world, claim a plot, and build anything with an ocean theme. When done, post your name and coordinates on a sign on the wall at spawn, across from the Hosts’ camp near the Creative portal. Ends January 31.
To claim a plot, stand in an open one and type “/p claim” You can claim up to 4 plots, but if you need another, talk to one of the mods. Thanks and good luck! And thanks to SeaWorldLover for his great suggestion!

Resource Update 12/13/19

We have added a few custom recipes and adjusted some special drop rates. This should go active with the 12/13 afternoon reboot.
  • We’ve added recipes for Coral Blocks, Enchanted Golden (Notch) Apples, and Sponges. Go to the Custom Recipes tab to see what you need!
  • Oh Tridents, you elusive little devils. Because of server spawn rates, we have decided to slightly increase the drop rates for this item. Now, any Drowned, regardless if they have one in hand, can drop a Trident, but as usual you have to kill it and your luck will go up with Looting on your weapon. Wait… where do the Drowned keep their Tridents when not in their hands? I don’t think I want to know, but your odds are better than ever for getting your hands on one! Just, you know, clean it first…

Hey all. I want to talk about the rules. We have just a few and most of them boil down to being respectful to players and mods. You don’t have to agree with others on the server, you can have discussions about differences of opinion, and you can state your problem to a mod, but they all have to be done with civility and respect. Snarky comments and name calling are not acceptable. Talking down about other players to others is unacceptable. Threats and actions against the server are not acceptable. We all have bad days, but repeated bad behavior including breaking the rules, will get you removed from the server. I don’t want to do that, but I will. This is a warning for everyone that we take the rules seriously. So let’s keep it fun and light. Let’s continue to work together and try to work out any differences in a civil manner. If you have a problem, come to me or TK or Starblaiz. Do not go after other players. I love you all and love this server, so let’s keep it fun.
